A video of my father Gunther performing one of his classical music compositions. Dad's composing output has greatly increased in recent years, spanning solo pieces through to large orchestral works.

An exploration of light in it's purest form; created by aiming small led fixtures into a glass bowl of water and filming the resultant caustic reflections cast onto an adjacent wall. The use of water as a reflective surface modulates the light with an almost playful cadence; it dances and flitters, ever evolving. At times, distinct forms seem to manifest individual to each viewer's perception, changing the function of the piece to a kind of light based Rorschach test.
Exhibited at the Anita Traverso gallery Melbourne as part of Globelight-a light based art festival curated by James Tapscott and Sam Mitchell-Fin.
One sunny afternoon as I test equipment, my daughter Piper decides to perform a spontaneous piano recital. She explores the keyboard as the notes ring out in gleeful confusion. Pleased with her efforts, she moves on to play in another part of the studio.
